Who is Zeina Daccache?
After graduating in Performing Arts (2000) at the University
St-Joseph, Beirut, she traveled to the U.K for a year to study at the
Philippe Gaulier International Drama School, London (2000-2001).
As she returned to Lebanon, she joined the popular and regular
political satire comedy show on LBCI: BASSMET WATAN appearing in
acclaimed characters like: Iso, Antoinette al tarcha (a deaf old
woman), the weird journalist, etc…and producing many theatre plays in
Beirut area in different advertising TV spots (Yes, Deli tuna, Bihar
cheese, Syriatel, Taragui).

In addition to this show, she started a theatre workshop as an
alternative therapy in a non governmental organization for the
rehabilitation of drug addicts (Oum el Nour).
Each year an acclaimed play was produced and opened to the public,
proving that culture could exist in the most forgotten places. These
events increased the demand on such projects and raised a big interest
from the concerned associations, companies and schools to take part in
what proved to be a pioneer specialization in the country. Therefore
she has been completing for the last couple of years several projects
for these many different areas.
Lately, she co-produced and interpreted songs for the album: Min Wa'ta
(launched at Virgin Megastore) a series of monologues that deal with
relational matters in the Lebanese society.
